Tufted Titmouse, Black-capped Chickadee and Downy Woodpecker on a WBU No-Mess Seed Cylinder
This time of year, it is obvious when the birds are eating. My feeders are crazy with activity from all the young birds with their parents. They can leave quite a mess of bird food and shells. That is why I prefer tidy feeding options in my yard and at the office.
I really like foods like no-mess blends and no-mess bird seed cylinders. They provide a variety of food options to attract a variety of birds; but, they don’t have the shells to create the mess. The bonus is they are no waste foods as all the ingredients are preferred by the birds; so, they all get eaten.
